How to use Powertex hardener

Powertex textile and fabric hardener is ready to use straight from the container. Shake bottle well before use. Any particles lodged in the bottom of the bottle can be dissolved by adding a little boiling water; shake well.

In cold weather, place the bottle in a warm place (such as on the radiator) to increase the fluidity of the liquid.

Cut old T-shirts, blankets, baby clothes or other absorbent materials into strips or pieces (100% natural fibers work best). Soak them in Powertex liquid, wring them out well and wrap them around an underwire. Tools and hands can be cleaned with warm water and soap. Protect your clothing. Once dry, Powertex liquid can only be removed mechanically.

All Powertex colors are waterproof, except Powertex Transparent. That’s why we recommend you always use Easy Varnish, even to protect pigment colors. This varnish is waterproof thanks to the wax in its composition. After varnishing your decorative object, let it dry indoors for six weeks.
Powertex is absolutely safe for humans and animals, and meets the strictest European and American safety standards. Powertex has undergone extensive testing and has been awarded the AP seal.

Important: Powertex hardener may frost when liquid. Do not store or transport below 0°C! The minimum temperature for using Powertex hardener is 10°C. Once the Powertex liquid has hardened, temperature no longer affects the finished product.
