Extracted from flax seeds, this excellent binder gives pastes that are very pleasant to work with, which harden quickly,
in depth, and constitute very resistant films of great beauty. Clear, low acid, despite its tendency to yellow in the dark, refined oil offers the best of linseed oil.
It allows to fluidify the color and to increase the brilliance. Thinner: mineral spirits or turpentine. Diluted in this way, it can be used as a painting medium
with the risk of delaying the drying of the color by also giving it a certain "stickiness" if it is used in too large a dose.
