Synthrapol® is a pH-neutral industrial liquid detergent used for pre- and post-washing dyed or painted fabrics, as well as a wetting agent for textile dyes and paints. Synthrapol® has the unique property of keeping free dyes suspended during the wash, thus preventing staining and facilitating the removal of excess color.
Instructions
Pre-wash:
Pre-washing fabrics with Synthrapol® to remove oils, waxes, starches, and sizing ensures even dyeing and reduces the risk of staining. Directions: Add 3 tablespoons (44 ml) of Synthrapol per 3.63 kg of laundry. For cotton and other cellulosic fibers, add 2 tablespoons (30 g) of sodium carbonate. Wash for at least 10 minutes in hot water, then rinse thoroughly.
After washing:
Synthrapol® keeps the dye in suspension, removing excess color and preventing stains. Instructions: After dyeing or painting, rinse the fabric in cold water, then wash for at least 10 minutes in warm water for cotton, in lukewarm water for silk and wool, then rinse thoroughly in cold water.
Wetting Agent:
Adding Synthrapol® to a dye bath or textile paint can improve dye penetration and ensure uniform coloring. Directions: To dye wool and other hard-to-wet fibers, add 2 to 3 drops of Synthrapol® per 2.27 kg of fabric.
To improve the penetration, coverage, and adhesion of textile paints on hard-to-wet fabrics, add 1 to 2 drops of Synthrapol® per 59.15 ml of paint.
